Privacy Policy

Twosday is a shared calendar for two people. This policy explains what information the service handles, why it is used, and the choices available to account holders.

Information Twosday handles

Twosday stores the account username, Firebase authentication identifier, profile names and optional emoji, calendar events, notes, shared-event links, and account preferences. Calendar events may include titles, times, locations, descriptions, completion state, and recurrence details. When Google sign-in is connected, Google provides an account identity used only to authenticate the linked Twosday account.

The app also uses browser storage to keep a signed-in session, offline calendar data, settings, and a short authentication retry delay. Firebase, Google, and Vercel may process limited technical information such as IP address, device and browser data, and service logs needed to operate and secure their services.

How information is used

Twosday uses this information to authenticate users, synchronize calendars, show activity and update metadata between the two profiles on an account, provide offline access, troubleshoot service issues, and protect the service from abuse. Twosday does not sell personal information or use calendar content for advertising.

Sharing

Twosday does not make an account's calendar available to other accounts. A user may choose to create a read-only event link. Anyone with that link can see the selected event's title, time, and any location or description included in the event until the link expires or is revoked. Do not include sensitive information in a shared event link.

Service providers

Twosday uses Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication and calendar storage, and Vercel for website hosting. These providers process information on Twosday's behalf to provide their services. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy documentation.

Retention and deletion

Calendar data and account metadata are kept while an account remains active. Account deletion removes the account's calendar data from the application. Limited records may remain temporarily in provider backups or logs where required for security, legal obligations, or reliable service operation.

Email and communications

Twosday does not currently operate a marketing email list. If email updates or a mailing list are added, the service will request consent where required, provide a clear unsubscribe option, and update this policy before collecting those addresses.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your calendar content, remove shared links, disconnect Google sign-in, and delete your account through the app. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, although that may sign you out or remove offline data.
